When you plan a party with The Blackbird Company, our aim is to help you get the very best out of your event. We'll maximise your budget by ensuring you get the very best deals, and bring exciting new ideas to the table to help you blow your guests away!

Find out how we've helped some of this year's clients plan their dream party below.

Andrew's 60th Birthday

The client had a beautiful big house and chose to hold a dinner party in a marquee in the grounds. A michelin-starred chef arrived on the day to prepare the menu Andrew had selected, all served by professional waiting staff. We selected and ordered wine to compliment the meal, and served champagne as the guests arrived in black tie. When it did nothing but pour it down with rain, we arrived with umbrellas for the guests and mops for the floor.  Live music was provided by a harpist and pianist and after dinner entertainment came in the form of a blackjack table, roulette wheel and two professional croupiers. We were on hand from afternoon setup through to the small hours of the following day; ensuring wine glasses were topped up and guests were having an amazing night.

Mollie's 7th Birthday

The Venue, a function room in a local museum, had already been booked so we touched base to introduce ourselves. We then spent time thinking about how we could transform the space, opting for a glow in the dark theme complete with a UV disco and LED light-up balloons. In the outside area were space hoppers for the more competitive kids, and a professional face-painter provided glittery make-overs for the birthday girl and her friends. To accompany the buffet we took the treat wall, complete with donuts hand-iced to look like planets.

Eve's Hen Do

Kicking the weekend off with games, prosecco and personalised cupcakes, the 35 guests bonded instantly. We arranged stunning accommodation and décor, and a food delivery so that the guests could cook and snack to their heart’s content. During Saturday’s pool party each of the guests was treated to a professional massage, and the drinks flowed almost as well as the music playlist we’d provided. On saturday night we transported the guests into the city centre via minibus, where they received pre-arranged arrival drinks and danced the night away. A surprise afternoon tea at a nearby country house was on hand for the sunday ‘survivors’, with one very happy bride to be at the head of the table.
